Description
The volunteers for this ministry travel to Baja, Mexico in May and November and build a home for a very deserving family. They provide transportation to the event in a bus which is very safe. Through building homes, this ministry offers a broad variety of education and training opportunities for volunteering adults and youth. By working alongside our neighbors in Northern Baja California, Corazón’s efforts promote self-sufficiency and help nurture the souls of its dedicated volunteers in the process. They lend a hand rather than give hand-outs and engage rather than give passively. Through the ministry endeavors, they unite to build long-lasting bonds between thriving empowered communities. When people are given an opportunity to build something life changing – safe shelter for themselves and their family – amazing things happen. Build Dates

If you would like to participate in the build, please sign up by clicking the link below. Please note you will need to upload a copy of your passport or appropriate travel card to be eligible for the trip. Every volunteer older than 18 must register for themselves. Parents interested in bringing their children to the build must include the names of each minor when they register.
The cost to attend the build is $100 per person. This includes transportation by bus to and from the build in Mexico, a light breakfast, water and refreshments, and dinner in San Diego.
